Changelly takes third because it acts partly as an aggregator. When customers want to purchase Bitcoin with fiat, the service can present offers from several payment providers rather than relying on one card-processing relationship. The user chooses BTC, enters the fiat amount and location, compares the available offers, and selects the route they want to use.
This approach can work well because credit-card pricing varies considerably between providers. The lowest-cost company for a $100 purchase may not produce the strongest quote for $2,000, and availability can change according to country and currency. Paybis finishes our ranking with one of the clearest fiat-to-crypto propositions. The company has operated since 2014 and built much of its retail service around purchasing cryptocurrencies through cards and other fiat payment methods. Customers can choose Bitcoin, enter the amount, complete the required account checks, and select an eligible Visa or Mastercard card.
Unlike a full exchange, Paybis does not make spot trading the central part of its service. The website serves mainly as an on-ramp and off-ramp, which can appeal to people who do not want charts, order books, and trading tools surrounding a basic BTC purchase.
