Tenerife will host the official Tomorrowland Symphony of Unity show on 12th September, bringing more than 60 live musicians to the Santa Cruz Exhibition Centre. Organisers say it will be the production’s only performance in Spain this year.
Tomorrowland is one of the world’s largest and best-known electronic dance music festivals. First held in Belgium in 2005, it is known for attracting leading international DJs, large crowds and elaborate stage productions.
The show will headline the first Noctámbula festival, combining orchestral versions of electronic dance anthems with international DJs and performers from the Canary Islands.
Symphony of Unity has previously appeared at major international venues, including Tomorrowland’s Freedom Stage in Belgium and the Sphere in Las Vegas. Its Tenerife performance will transform the venue into a combination of a large dance club and symphony concert hall.
The festival will begin at 4:00pm and continue throughout the afternoon and evening. Food, cocktails and several ticket categories will be available alongside the live entertainment.
International performers include Mattia Vitale from the Meduza collective, B Jones and Michael Rod, performing under his Michenlo DJ project.
Tenerife DJs Claudia Rutten, Dani Chueca, DJ Jonay and Tay de León will also feature prominently in the line-up, showcasing a range of styles from house and breakbeat to drum and bass.
The production will include around 600 lighting units and 400 square metres of LED screens. The visual effects will be synchronised with each performance to create an immersive experience throughout the venue.
