Zombies, monsters and other creatures will take over La Laguna’s historic centre on Saturday 31st October as the Isla Calavera Zombie Walk returns for Halloween.
Residents and holidaymakers are invited to join the celebrations, with free zombie make-up available in Plaza del Adelantado from 5:00pm. The square will also host food stalls and activities before the evening procession.
Participants can arrive in costume or have their transformation at the event. Organisers say no professional outfit or acting experience is needed.
Parade starts at 8:00pm
The procession will leave Plaza del Adelantado at 8:00pm, heading along Calle Obispo Rey Redondo towards Plaza de la Concepción before returning via Calle Herradores.
Actor and comedian Aarón Gómez will host, with the Tejina Music Band also taking part.
Back in the square, awards will recognise the best zombie appearance, best walking performance and best group. A DJ set from NAGOBA will round off the entertainment.
The event welcomes all ages and forms part of the activities accompanying the Isla Calavera fantasy film festival.
