Teenager in critical condition after motorbike crash in Gran Canaria
A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after a motorbike accident yesterday, Saturday, in Agüimes (Gran Canaria) according to reports from the emergency services.
The incident happened at 3:40pm on Calle Azahar, which is when the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) received the alert requesting urgent medical assistance.
When SUC paramedics arrived at the location given, they found the teenager suffering from multiple serious injuries. They proceeded to stabilise him at the roadside before transferring him in a critical condition by advanced life support ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Insular de Gran Canaria.
Officers from the Local Police also attended the scene and have launched an investigation, compiling a report into the circumstances surrounding the crash. No further details have yet been released.
