With Monday 12th October marking Spain's National Day, residents and holidaymakers have an extended weekend to enjoy events across the archipelago.

TENERIFE — INTERNATIONAL MUSIC, FIESTAS AND SPORT
ELROW XXL — COSTA ADEJE:

One of the biggest entertainment events of the weekend takes place at Golf Costa Adeje, where the internationally renowned Elrow festival returns to Tenerife.
Thousands of electronic music fans are expected for a spectacular event featuring elaborate themed stages, visual effects, performers and international DJs.

ADEJE PATRON SAINT FESTIVITIES

Adeje's annual patron saint celebrations continue with traditional entertainment, live music and community activities.
Saturday's programme includes live music in Calle Grande at midday and a major dance evening in Plaza de España beginning at 11:30pm.
Performers include Edwin Rivera, Maquinaria and Sabrosa.

EUROPEAN TRIATHLON CUP — SANTA CRUZ
Sunday 11th October
Some of Europe's leading triathletes compete in Santa Cruz on Sunday. The women's elite race begins at 11:30am, followed by the men's competition at 1:30pm.
Athletes will complete a 750-metre swim, 20-kilometre cycle and five-kilometre run.
The event offers spectators an opportunity to watch international sporting competition on the island.
LA LAGUNA BOOK FAIR AND FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

The Fiestas de la Virgen del Pilar continue in Guanarteme with traditional celebrations, music and entertainment.
Saturday's programme includes the Grand Drag Queen Gala at 9:30pm in Plaza del Pilar.
On Monday, the celebrations conclude with a procession, community paella and live music.
The paella and a performance by Tacones Rojos begin at approximately 1:30pm, followed by a concert by King África at 4:00pm.

MELONERAS BEACH FEST

One of Lanzarote's biggest weekend attractions is the first LATAM VIVE International Festival of Latin American Cultures.
Taking place at the Arrecife fairground, the event celebrates Latin American music, dance, food and traditions.
